OUR BEGINNINGS
The history of NOVUS goes back to the early 1970s when Dr. Frank Werner, a retired aircraft engineering company owner, left his corporate job to focus on his passion for inventing. After experiencing damaged windshields three times and having to have the windshield replaced each time, Werner wondered if there was a way to repair damaged windshields. His curiosity coupled with help from chemical engineer Bill Wiele led to the invention of windshield repair, which Werner then patented.
Following that, Werner and Wiele built a business plan on how to introduce windshield repair to the general market for the first time. Their first company, a business called Keinath Incorporated (named after Werner’s business partner, Gerald Keinath), was located in the basement of Werner’s home. Soon after, Keinath Incorporated became NOVUS (meaning “new” or “innovative” in Latin), and in 1985 NOVUS became a full-fledged franchise company.
Since its inception, NOVUS has been the industry leader in research and development for windshield repair. NOVUS has been awarded more U.S. patents for windshield repair than the rest of the windshield repair industry combined, and continues to be a leading force in the market.

Moreover, by repairing your windshield instead of replacing it, we ensure that the factory seal on your windshield is maintained which means a higher confidence level on the structural integrity of your vehicle!

WINDSHIELD REPAIR
NOVUS guarantees its windshield repair will not crack further and will pass vehicle inspection in all states, for as long as you own your vehicle, or we will refund the price of the original repair.
Or, a complete refund will be given as credit toward the purchase of a new windshield from the NOVUS facility that repaired the windshield. In the event that a NOVUS facility is not able to replace the windshield, the price of the original repair will be refunded.
AUTO GLASS PRODUCTS
Your replacement glass is warranted against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original customer owns the vehicle. This warranty expires when you sell your vehicle.
This warranty will become void should breakage or damage occur due to vandalism, theft, acts of God, or self-inflicted damages. NOVUS Auto Glass Repair & Replacement will not be liable for consequential damages in states which allow this exclusion. Should any defect occur (other than due to owner negligence), we will supply and install all necessary parts free of charge.
The sealing of any unit is guaranteed with the exception of leaking due to body deterioration.
