FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR

We know that getting your vehicle serviced can be a stressful and frustrating situation. With our many years of expertise in windshield replacement and repair, we would like to alleviate your concerns by answering some of your Frequently Asked Questions.

How can I tell if my windshield can be repaired?

If the damage to your windshield is smaller than a quarter, it is likely that we can repair it. However, certain factors also determine its reparability. We recommend you to get in touch with us to discuss your situation so that we can advise accordingly.

What will my windshield look like after repair? Will the repair work be invisible?

Generally, our windshield repair can restore 75% – 95% of the optical clarity of the damaged area. The final result will depend on several factors such as the severity of the damage, age of the windshield, and the amount of contamination in the damage. While we do our best to restore damaged windshields to the best clarity, the repair work will be not completely invisible. A slight blemish or imperfection where the impact occurred is normal. In most instances, the restored area will look like a small water spot or bug splat.

Do I have to visit your workshop to get my windshield replaced? Can you replace my windshield at my home or office?

Yes, we can! To offer our customers greater convenience, we provide mobile windshield replacements. We can safely and quickly replace your windshield in the driveway or parking lot of your home or office. With our portable tools and fast curing windshield adhesives, mobile windshield replacements are a breeze!

How long will it take to replace my windshield? Am I able to drive my car immediately after it is done?

The process of replacing the windshield typically takes about one to one and a half hours to complete. Following that, it takes about one more hour for the adhesive to cure adequately before it is safe to drive your vehicle. We recommend setting aside two to two and half hours in total for the entire windshield replacement process before you drive your vehicle again.

Can you replace/repair my windshield in inclement weather?

On all our jobs, safety is our number one concern. As such, we are unable to offer our mobile windshield replacement service in outdoor areas during inclement weather. During inclement weather, we will require a sheltered area such as a garage. During such weather conditions, we recommend you to get in touch with us so that we can further advise you on the best arrangements to service your vehicle.
